Young adults with special needs, such as Asperger’s, ADD, developmental delays or learning disabilities will find a trusting, nonjudgmental, family atmosphere at College Living Experience (CLE). Students can improve their academic, social and independent living skills while exploring their own interests and life goals.
Learning Together
CLE provides students with a true college experience at a community college, four-year university or vocational or certificate institution. Students are free to choose their own classes and course of study and staff members help students who are undecided about their majors or desired careers.
Living Together
CLE students experience the same living arrangements as most college students – with a roommate in an apartment complex with other CLE students. They learn to live with other people and they develop lasting relationships with their roommates and fellow students.
Socializing Together
CLE students learn from each other through social activities organized by CLE and by other students. Staff members and students arrange activities such as movie nights, dining out, bike riding, visiting museums and other social events that enable them to take advantage of all that college life has to offer.
CLE provides students with the academic, social and independent living skills support necessary to experience college and learn how to become successful, independent adults.
