College Living Experience is unique among college programs for students with learning disabilities. CLE is a comprehensive year-round program in which students can enroll at any time. Students receive academic, social and life skills support while living in and maintaining their own apartments and attending classes.
CLE tuition includes:
- Comprehensive services in one location, which gives families the peace of mind that their children are being cared for in every aspect of their daily lives.
- Academic support that helps students utilize learning strategies, manage their time and participate in study halls.
- Independent living skills support, which aids students in managing their money, cleaning their own living space, shopping for food and preparing meals.
- Social skills support that facilitates opportunities for students to become comfortable in social situations and develop appropriate, fulfilling relationships with peers and adults.
- An academic liaison who ensures each student is registered for the appropriate classes based on the students skill set and instruction level, monitors student progress and participation, establishes a relationship with the school’s Office of Disability Services and provides disability awareness among students, faculty and staff.
- A tutor coordinator and subject-specific tutors who work with students one-on-one.
- An independent living skills coordinator who helps students manage activities such as paying bills, shopping, preparing meals and other skills that promote confidence.
- A case manager who monitors progress and is the primary contact with parents.
- A staff psychologist who leads discussion groups and helps develop intervention plans for each student.
- A mentor who facilitates the guided application of newly learned social skills.
- A resident advisor who lives in or near the apartment complex and helps students navigate daily life, plan and participate in social events and manage routine household matters.
CLE costs to not include the tuition with the a post secondary educational institution or residential and living expenses.

Financial Assistance
CLE admissions coordinators will work with families to determine what funds might be available depending on their state and their son or daughters eligibilty.
CLE is proud to offer payment plan discounts to families and will work with a family on an option that will work for them.
Tax Deduction
A tax deduction for medical expenses for the tuition paid to College Living Experience may be available. In accordance with IRS Regulations, a medical deduction is allowed for tuition costs when a school meets the definition of a "special school." Tax advisors should be consulted regarding the availability of this deduction.
