Students with special needs benefit from a learning environment where they have supportive, encouraging relationships with individuals they trust.
CLE Positions
Students with Asperger’s, nonverbal learning disorders, ADD/ADHD and other learning disabilities have daily access to professionals who provide help they need to attend a college program and transition into adulthood, including support from:
- Psychologists who lead group sessions and individual therapy;
- Mentors who facilitate social skills development and provide personal guidance;
- Tutors with mastery in specific academic areas;
- Independent Living Skills instructors who teach students how to cook, shop, clean and follow a budget; and
- Resident advisors who provide additional ingoing support with social events.
