CLE has been a good experience for me.

CLE wants students to become independent, competent adults. To do that, students must be strong academically, socially, and be able to control their own lives. That’s why we focus on academics, independent-living skills, and social skills. When a student can put all three together, he or she is ready to take on the world.

Superior support. A foot in reality.

What makes CLE the right choice? You just read three of the reasons: Education. Living skills. Social skills. If you find another program with two of these features, well, two out of three is fine for most people. Unless the person we’re talking about is your son or daughter.

We give our students an enormous amount of support. In fact many people hearing about our programs for the first time are taken aback at how thought-through and comprehensive they are. We don’t just point our students in the right direction, we make sure they get where they need to be. Our tutoring programs are comprehensive. Our course reviews are essential to understanding each week’s demands, our mentors and counselors keep students, their goals, and the issues that need attention in view at all times. And we work with our students to make sure they move in the direction where they will find the most success.

This is where we promote realism. Students are encouraged to pursue courses in which they are successful, courses that will translate to success in the job market. If a student isn’t going to be competitive, a diploma doesn’t mean much. We understand that and work with each of our students to be sure they are matched with the educational focus that will yield the greatest opportunity.

How much supervision is there?

The College Living Experience is not a 24/7-model program. There are no bed checks and no curfews. Students are expected to attend all of their scheduled tutorial, independent living skills, and social skills appointments throughout the week, however, when not scheduled for an appointment; students are on their own to enjoy college life.
