Why did you get into working at CLE?
First and foremost I enjoy aiding in the process of discovery for college students. During this special time, they come into better understanding about who they are and what they want to be. I love entering into a student’s world and being able to find their strength while encouraging them to nurture the weaker aspects of their character.
Why did you choose this?
The experience of college sets the stage for adult life. I find helping each student explore the possibilities invigorating. What other time in your life are you able to ask the question: “What do you want to be when you grow up? and the student responds with creative action.
What keeps you motivated?
I am strongly invested in the success of the students. By success I mean forward motion; no matter how small, I cheer with them as they gain insight and mastery.
What is your favorite thing about working at CLE?
I enjoy the team approach to helping students realize and reach for their fullest potential.
