Why did you go into teaching/tutoring?

See below re: why I went into psychology, plus current work in an academically based setting allows me to use my total skill package in some unique, creative ways, with a population that is not saturated with mental health experience

Why did you choose special education?

Unique challenges, enjoyment of interaction with people, blending of science and art, work is never stagnant or boring

What keeps you motivated?

Seeing student success in self care and becoming more independent. Looking for fresh ways to approach a challenge.

What is your favorite thing about working at CLE?

The staff. We get to use our collective creativity as we find ways to help each student with their unique needs and strengths.
