Why did you go into teaching/tutoring?
To help students realize their potential and help lay a foundation for their future.
Why did you choose special education?
I enjoy watching students blossom in people they never thought they were or could be. Watching these young adults experience what life offers, really makes you proud that you have helped them along the way.
What keeps you motivated?
My motivation comes from the wonderful staff I work with and our students. Everyday we all experience something new and cross new hurdles, to conquer those things as a family is the best motivation anyone could ask for.
What is your favorite thing about working at CLE?
I love having students brag to me about what they were taught in school or ILS. (It really shows that they are grateful for our assistance.) I also love to go to the social events, such as lacrosse games or the art walk, where I get to know more about the students� personalities and outside lives, on a less serious note.
