Why did you go into teaching/tutoring?

I’ve always enjoyed supporting people’s personal and academic growth.

Why did you choose special education?

I would say special education chose me—and I’m grateful for it. Because above and beyond their “disabilities,” our students are truly special.

What keeps you motivated?

Students make amazing progress once they experience some success and begin to believe in themselves. To see students take these important steps is a gift and a great motivator.

What is your favorite thing about working at CLE?

I have the best of all worlds: I work with a talented & committed team, I share information regarding the program with families and professionals across Texas, and I participate in daily CLE life.
